Helping Women Build Strength, Improve Their Health, and Feel Like Themselves Again
Hi, I’m Liv.
I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner working in OB/GYN, a fitness coach, a wife, and a mom of three. Most importantly, I’m a woman who understands what it feels like to juggle work, family, responsibilities, and the constant pressure to “do it all.”
For years, I’ve watched women work incredibly hard to take care of everyone else while putting themselves last. They spend hours searching for answers online, trying the latest fitness trends, jumping from diet to diet, and wondering why they still feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their own health.
I created this space to be different.
My goal is to help women cut through the noise and focus on what actually works: building strength, improving health habits, and creating a life that supports long-term wellness—not perfection.
My Story
My passion for health and fitness started long before I became a nurse practitioner.
I began my own fitness journey as a teenager and quickly learned that true health isn’t about chasing the smallest body or following extreme plans. It’s about building habits that are sustainable, realistic, and supportive of the life you want to live.
Over the last 18+ years, I’ve continued that journey through different seasons of life… including college, nursing school, working as a registered nurse, becoming a nurse practitioner, getting married, and navigating pregnancy and postpartum recovery three times.
Like many women, I’ve experienced the challenges of finding balance between career, family, fitness, and self-care. I’ve learned firsthand that health has to fit into real life, not the other way around.
My Professional Background
My approach combines both clinical experience and coaching experience.
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) currently practicing in OB/GYN, where I help care for women across a wide range of health concerns and life stages.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in critical care and transplant settings.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of caring for thousands of patients and seeing firsthand how often women are left feeling confused, dismissed, or overwhelmed when it comes to their health.
In addition to my clinical work, I have earned certifications in:
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)
- NASM Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC)
- Women’s Coaching Specialist
- Pre- and Postnatal Coaching Specialist
- Menopause Coaching Specialist (in progress)
- Gut Health Specialist (in progress)
My mission is to bridge the gap between evidence-based health information and practical real-life implementation.
Why I Created The VITAL Method™
Over the years, I noticed the same pattern over and over again.
Women didn’t need more complicated plans.
They didn’t need another restrictive diet.
They didn’t need two-hour workouts.
They needed a sustainable framework that worked with their busy lives.
That’s why I created The VITAL Method™, a simple approach built around five key pillars:
V ~ Vital Movement
Strength training and movement that fits into real life.
I ~ Intuitive Nutrition
Simple nutrition habits that support energy, strength, and long-term health.
T ~ Thought Alignment
Moving away from all-or-nothing thinking and building confidence through consistency.
A ~ Aligned Living
Creating routines, boundaries, and habits that support your goals.
L ~ Longevity & Low-Tox Living
Prioritizing sleep, recovery, stress management, and the everyday choices that impact long-term health.
